1. iTunes Store - You can only purchase songs for your iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad through Apple only. You cannot use third parties to download music on your Apple device. 2. Apple App Store - You can only download for your iPhone, or iPad through Apple only. You cannot use third parties to download apps on your Apple device. 3. You can only develop apps using Apple's restricted development tools. You may not use Flash for your iPhone.- Closed system. What if Microsoft created its own Windows App Store and said you can only download or purchase apps from Windows App Store only.
